About Joe

My name is Joe Tarantola, and I’m the owner of Eastside Solutions. I’ve spent more than 20 years working in real estate, remodeling, construction, and property management throughout the Seattle area. Over the years, I’ve worked with all kinds of residential properties, from single-family homes to duplexes, fourplexes, and large multifamily buildings, giving me a practical understanding of the challenges homeowners face and what it takes to properly maintain and manage a property.

My experience started early. When I was just a boy, I worked alongside my father renovating homes and preparing them for resale. Growing up around this line of work gave me a hands-on understanding of the different styles of residential construction, how homes are built and maintained over time, and how properties change throughout their lifespan.

Today, I manage rental properties, oversee renovation and repair projects, and help homeowners work through situations that can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncertain. I also hold a Washington State Real Estate Broker’s License as well as a Washington Home Inspector’s License, and I’ve performed inspections for both residential and commercial properties, including housing inspections for the Seattle and Renton Housing Authorities.

I started Eastside Solutions because I saw too many homeowners being pressured into decisions that primarily benefited someone else’s commission, timeline, or financial interest. My approach is different. I believe in sitting down with property owners, exploring the available options together, and helping them determine what makes the most sense for their specific situation — without pressure.

In many cases, long-term property management and maintaining ownership may be the best path forward. In other situations, selling may make more sense. My goal is not to push people toward one outcome or another, but to provide practical guidance, honest communication, and solutions that align with the homeowner’s long-term interests.
